Bobby Jackson, Adam Haluska (who!?!? I know…), and a 2nd-round pick in the 2008 draft.
Memphis acquires Marcus Vinicius, the rights to Malick Badiane, and CASH Money as part of the deal. Here’s the trade broken down:
Hornets get:
- Bonzi Wells
- Mike James
- CASH Money
Rockets get:
- Bobby Jackson
- Adam Haluska
- 2nd-round draft pick (2008)
- Rights to Sergei Lishouk
Grizzlies get:
- Marcus Vinicius
- Rights to Malick Badiane
- CASH Money
Again, what is wrong with the Rockets’ management!? If I were giving up Mike James and Bonzi Wells to the Hornets, I’d gun for David West. Of course the Rockets could have been gunning for that CASH Money…only they GAVE AWAY CASH Money…what the hell!? So it’s pretty safe to say the Hornets absolutely made out on this deal, adding to their arsenal two great role players.
